Network rack and server room installation in Hamilton
Racks, patch panels and cable management, installed clean and labelled.
Racks that are easy to understand and easy to support
A tidy rack saves hours when something goes wrong. We install, assemble and mount network racks and cabinets for offices, clinics and industrial sites in Hamilton and the Niagara Region, and we reorganize existing racks that have become hard to follow.
What is included
- Network rack and cabinet installation, assembly and mounting
- Switches and patch panels installed and organized
- Cable management and clean patching
- Reorganization of existing racks
- Testing and labelling of cabling to the rack
Server rooms and network rooms
For server rooms and high-speed networks we recommend Cat6A cabling and, for long distances between buildings or rooms, fiber optic cabling. We can also add managed IT monitoring once the rack is live.
Common questions
Can you tidy up an existing network rack?
Yes. We reorganize racks that have grown messy: re-patching, labelling and adding cable management so the rack is serviceable.
What goes in a network rack?
Typically switches, patch panels, routers or firewalls and cable management, and sometimes servers and a UPS. We install and organize the equipment you have.
Which cable should I use for a server room?
Cat6A is a common choice for server rooms and high-speed networks because it supports 10 Gb Ethernet to the full 100 metres. See Cat6 vs Cat6A.
