Warehouse network cabling and security cameras in Hamilton and Niagara

Long cable runs, dock and yard cameras and wireless coverage, planned as one network.

Warehouse networks fail at the edges

Warehouses and industrial units have what offices do not: long distances, high ceilings, racking that blocks signal and yards that need coverage. We plan the network around those realities so cameras, Wi-Fi and the office all work from the same backbone.

What we plan and install

  • Switch locations across the building so every cable run stays within the 100 metre limit
  • Camera coverage for dock doors, gates, yards, aisles and entrances
  • Wireless access points placed for racking and floor layout
  • A main rack in the office or network room, labelled and documented
  • Upgrades from old analog camera systems to IP cameras and a modern recorder

New tenants and expanding sites

If you are moving into a new unit, install cabling and cameras before racking and stock arrive. If you are expanding, we extend the existing network without disturbing what already works. See our guides on Cat6 vs Cat6A and choosing a business camera system.

We serve warehouses in Stoney Creek, Burlington, the Niagara Region and Hamilton.

Common questions

How do you cable a building longer than 100 metres?

Copper Ethernet runs are limited to 100 metres including patch cords. We place switches in more than one location and link them back to the main rack, so every run stays within the limit.

Can you cover a yard and loading docks with cameras?

Yes. We review dock doors, gates, yards and entrances, then choose cameras suited to the lighting and weather at each position.

Can you provide wireless coverage across the warehouse floor?

Yes. We plan access point positions for the layout and racking, and cable each one back to a switch.
